Retrospection

What you see before you, my friend, is the result of a life time of chocolate

Katherine Hepburn

A life time of chocolate and a myriad of other influences. All the wrinkles, white hair and extra pounds have been earned. As we age, our past experiences and choices have a way of catching up with us.

As I look back, there are some things I wish I had done differently. Many things I wish I had said or left unsaid. Choices that may not have been the best. I am fortunate I have not had a career or addiction that took a physical toll, paid for in later life.

As the years go by, we have more time for retrospection. We view the good and the bad. Moving forward and finding enjoyment in what we have now is the key, I believe, to our happiness. Time is to precious to waste on past wrongs. Look for joy in today.
