Aging with Grace

These benches sitting along the pier, looking out over the lake, have become one of my favorite places to read and reflect. Early in the morning, as the mist rolls across the water, I can feel an almost tangible sense of peace and grace.

While deciding on a title for my blog, I considered the definitions of grace. Simple elegance, courteous goodwill and the theological term defined as a virtue coming from God. In Greek mythology, Graces exemplify three sister goddesses who are givers of charm and beauty. As I researched grace, everything I found came together to form an idea of what I wanted my writing to represent.

Writing, similar to life, is a work in progress. I have tried, while posting on my blog, to stay true to my goal of representing grace. As I go back and read what I have written, I recognize some attempts have been more successful than others. I hope that as I continue to grow and learn, you will take this journey with me.
