Where Wisdom Whispers

A View From my Window

Intuition is the whisper of the soul.

Jiddu Krishnamurti

Have you ever had a voice in your head whispering advice? Last week, I had such an experience. After a partially melted snowfall, I was about to cross the lawn to get into my friend’s car. Suddenly, a voice whispered in my ear, urging me to walk around to the driveway. Despite knowing I should listen, I ignored the advice. As I stepped off the curb, I slipped on the ice and fell, resulting in a broken rib and a significant blow to my ego. I’ve heard this voice many times and often ignored it, to my own detriment. One would think I’d eventually pay attention, but sadly, I often charge ahead, disregarding caution. After all, I know better.

Intuition, viewed from different perspectives, can be seen as a spiritual form of inner guidance that surpasses reasoning or a sudden, unexplained nudge. I liken it to my guardian angel communicating with me, providing clarity and steering me in the right direction during moments of uncertainty. It whispers the potential of new experiences, urging us to explore uncharted territories of our lives. Conversely, it warns of impending disasters, acting as a protective instinct that cautions us against the consequences of our actions, often manifesting through feelings of unease or hesitation. The duality of the inner voice, both a source of inspiration and a guardian of caution, helps us navigate life’s complexities.

From a spiritual perspective, intuition acts as a conduit for inner guidance, a realm where the divine imparts direction and wisdom beyond the confines of our rational minds. It transcends mere knowledge, delving into the profound and often uncharted territory of belief and faith, inviting us to trust in something greater than ourselves. Intuition manifests spontaneously, arriving at our doorstep when we least expect it, often during moments of calm reflection or even amidst chaos, without our explicit request. This inner voice, gentle yet powerful, can inspire profound insights and sometimes compel us to take action, guiding us toward paths that resonate with our true selves. However, it is crucial that we act upon the guidance we receive. Otherwise, as I have personally experienced, we suffer the consequences.

Peace be with you.

  1. Funny like we know we should listen to “that voice “or follow our guts as others might say and yet we don’t and we know it’s the wrong thing to do but still…… we are human , thanks God we learn from mistakes and next time we will remember to listen and trust ” the voice”💕
