Every moment is a new beginning.
T.S. Eliot
After procrastinating for more years than I care to admit, I am committed to writing. To write what, you might ask? That’s a good question and I wish I had a good answer. Possibly, life experiences, aging with grace, commentary on today’s world? Something autobiographical? I would guess this will be something that will apply more to women. If there are men who want to read it, I’m not opposed to that. I imagine all writers hope that what they write might strike a cord with someone and, possibly, make a difference. If you’re willing to take this journey with me, we’ll see where it goes.
I’m beginning this late in life, I know Grandma Moses didn’t start painting until she was in her 80’s. Many have begun life changing projects at my age. Still, I recently celebrated my 70th birthday and the clock is ticking. I’m frustrated with myself that I’ve waited so long. I do believe in synchronicity. It might be that now is the right time. I’ll work on sitting down and putting something on paper in the hope you will find it interesting enough to read.
I am planning on posting on this blog once a week. I hope you will follow it and share your comments.
